2021-22

Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the system of support and intervention is consistent, understood and documented to ensure that appropriate instructional and programmatic decisions are made (4a, 4b)

Support and monitor the use of research-based programs and intervention design practices with the express purpose of reducing the number of students in need of this support (4a, 4b)

On a routine basis, review MTSS meeting minutes from each school and provide key feedback to improve site-based processes (4a, 4d)

Coordinate and lead a monthly meeting with MTSS Leads to establish direction and reinforce messaging (4a, 4d)

Co-facilitate/serve on the District MTSS Committee, Special Education Council (SEC) and other committees as aligned to the MTSS efforts (4b)

Coordinate, organize and facilitate meetings with community agencies and parents to advance MTSS systems, processes, and practices (4c)

Provide (on a quarterly basis) a detailed report with an objective analysis of specific school-based practices that demonstrate the success of programs and/or methodologies (4d)

Collaborate with administration to assess student placement needs, analyze student achievement data to identify trends, instructional needs, and appropriate intervention design, and set data-driven, instructional goals (4d)

Work collaboratively with other content area coordinators and directors to ensure alignment, cohesion and integration across departments and grade levels (4d)

Design, revise, maintain documentation of MTSS processes and procedures (4d)

2020-21

Collaborate with other U-46 Department staff to develop and provide cutting-edge implementation approaches to differentiated individual and groups of students (4a, 4d)

Participate in the implementation of the MTSS Committee and effectively network with community agencies and parents to advance MTSS systems, processes, and practices (4a, 4b, 4c, 4d)

2017-18

  • report out to staff at staff meetings
  • every meeting is an open invite to all staff
  • every meeting results in action to be taken prior to next meeting

No Office Day 5/18/14

I took my official No Office Day this month and broke it into 2 half days, each with a group of students who are redeeming OctoberFest experiences to accompany me. The students did everything: mapped out our schedule of where we went and when, took the pictures, decided what got tweeted, and distributed horseshoe hoorays. Here is some of what we experienced:
