2021-22

Design, revise, maintain documentation of MTSS processes and procedures (3a, 3b)

Work collaboratively with other content area coordinators and directors to ensure alignment, cohesion and integration across departments and grade levels (3a)

In collaboration with representatives from the Teaching and Learning Department, lead the development of systems of support in academic, social-emotional, and behavioral areas to meet the needs of all students in need of Tier 1, 2 and 3 instruction using research-based instructional approaches (3a, 3b, 3c)

Coordinate, organize and facilitate meetings with community agencies and parents to advance MTSS systems, processes, and practices (3a, 3b, 3c)

Coordinate and lead a monthly meeting with MTSS Leads to establish direction and reinforce messaging (3a, 3b, 3f, 3g)

Support and monitor the use of research-based programs and intervention design practices with the express purpose of reducing the number of students in need of this support (3a, 3c)

Plan, provide and evaluate high-quality, culturally and linguistically responsive, standards based professional development and support for all staff to implement MTSS with fidelity (3a, 3f, 3g)

Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that the system of support and intervention is consistent, understood and documented to ensure that appropriate instructional and programmatic decisions are made (3b)

Collaborate with administration to assess student placement needs, analyze student achievement data to identify trends, instructional needs, and appropriate intervention design, and set data-driven, instructional goals (3b)

In collaboration with the Assessment Department coordinate, organize, and facilitate regular meetings to communicate analysis of data and support systems work with a prioritized focus on leading indicators of student success (3b)

On a routine basis, review MTSS meeting minutes from each school and provide key feedback to improve site-based processes (3e)

2020-21

Develop effective practices through a continuum of supports: training, coaching, leadership, evaluation, and organizational systems that are supported by evidence (3a, 3b, 3e, 3f, 3g)

Collaborate, consult, and finalize all implementation plans and professional development activities with the Assistant Director of Curriculum & Instruction and the Curriculum and Instruction Coordinators (3a, 3b, 3f, 3g)

Coordinate, organize, and facilitate on a bi-weekly or monthly basis the MTSS Lead and Team meetings with the Assistant Director (3a, 3b, 3e, 3f, 3g)

Create and maintain a current “How To” reference manual that identifies key documents, provides examples of best practices, and highlights resource tools in a user-friendly format (3a, 3c)

Collaborate with other U-46 Department staff to develop and provide cutting-edge implementation approaches to differentiated individual and groups of students (3a, 3c, 3f, 3g)

Plan and implement culturally relevant responsive Professional Development opportunities that are directly correlated to actual academic, social-emotional, and behavioral situations faced by U-46 schools (3a, 3b, 3c, 3f, 3g)

Provide leadership oversight related to the implementation of local universal screening, benchmarking, and progress monitoring data for all students (i.e.Dibels, Idel, and STAR 360) (3b, 3c)

Ensure the alignment of all content usage to district’s curriculum and instruction research based methodology priorities (i.e. common core) for all three Tiers of the model (Core instruction, targeted instruction, intensive instruction) in collaboration with relevant stakeholders (3c)

Promote the use of research-based, Tier-Two and Tier-Three Interventions with the express purpose of reducing the number of students in need of this support (3c)

2017-18

Regularly assess & evolve our MTSS program (3a)
